I occasionally write things.
My first short story, LIBRARY OF AN OLD GHOST is a YA paranormal short. I had the lovely privilege of working on it with Jasmine Warga, the author of MY HEART AND OTHER BLACK HOLES. You can find it on Wattpad here.
I also wrote a short story for #WriteLadyHeadRight, hosted by Carrie Mesrobian and Christa Desir. They collected a lot of awesome short stories in February as a celebration of lady head (exactly what you think it is). My short story, titled THEY WERE, can be found here.
For Riveted Lit (Simon & Schuster), I wrote a list of 7 LGBT+ Fantasy/Speculative Novels to Read This Summer.
For Bisexual Awareness Week, I wrote a post for Gay YA titled Duality, YA and Crumpled Stickers.
I wrote a review of Love, Simon for Ms En Scene.
I have an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and in the spring of 2021, I will have my Master of Information in Library and Information Services. My library service expertise is on services for children and teens.
These writings are mainly readers advisory focused and provide recommendations for library customers but the occasional opinion piece comes through.
I wrote a post on the Netflix show, Love is Blind. Is Love Blind? Or Is it Just Really Good Reality TV?
I have also published over 10 Readers Advisory lists on the Vaughan Public Libraries catalogue.
